BritCham is proud to launch the Future of Trade series with our first event focusing on Energy & Utilities.

ASEAN is a region with unexplored potential where the demand for energy is set to grow within the middle class.

Increased energy access could mean that around 100 million people will be able to have electricity and clean energy.

We're delighted to have Her Majesty's Trade Commissioner for Asia Pacific, Natalie Black, to give us the keynote speech which will outline the enablers and access to support for those developing their business in the sector. Ms Black will also be joined by other panelists in a moderated panel discussion with Satvinder Singh of Enterprise Singapore, Tim Rockell of KPMG, Peter Godfrey of The Energy Institute & Wesley Mort of HSBC Bank.

The UK and Singapore are large energy sector countries providing finance and know-how locally to refiners, traders and as a base for exploration and production.

Join us as we better navigate the region through increased connections and access to finance and bring people together to identify new opportunities. We will also explore the opportunities to develop further trade in the Energy & Utilities sector between the United Kingdom and Singapore and springboard to South East Asia and beyond.

This event is appropriate for leaders in energy companies, financiers, professionals and technical service providers.

ABOUT THE "FUTURE OF TRADE" SERIES:

As relationships for the UK enter a new beginning this year, our Future of Trade campaign theme reflects our goal to strengthen our agenda and the support we can provide to our members in this area. The Future of Trade theme will look at the theme of collaboration within trade, fostering closer ties between the UK and Singapore, and the UK and ASEAN.
