Peter is the Chief Talent & Learning Officer of Jardine Matheson Limited, responsible for Group-wide Talent Management, Learning & Development, Organisation Development & Internal Communication.

Prior to this he held several senior regional and global HR roles over 12 years in Unilever. This included periods heading global HR expertise teams in Performance Management, Talent and Organisation Development.

Before becoming an HR professional some 20 years ago, Peter spent 12 years in Management Consulting and 10 years in Finance. Peter has lived in 9 countries and visited or worked in around 80 others.

Robert Garman is appointed as Executive Director, Commercial Property, South Asia of Hongkong Land Limited in February 2009, responsible for the Southeast Asia commercial property assets. He is based in Singapore and plays a key role in representing the Group’s interest in Southeast Asia.

Mr Garman joined Hongkong Land Limited in April 1995 and has held a series of increasingly senior positions in Commercia l Property Department. Before joining Hongkong Land, he has six years working experience specialising in various real estate disciplines.
Mr Garman was educated in Oxford Brookes University and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Estate Management. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and also a member of the Management Committee of the Real Estate Developers’ Association of Singapore.

Mr Garman is also an INSEAD Alumni having attending the AMP at
Fontainebleau.

Emily Tan is General Manager of Shell’s global City Solutions business. It forms part of New Energies which is focused on building a lower-carbon power business. City Solutions aims to help government, industry and society navigate the energy transition through integrated urban solutions. Its three main areas are mobility, energy and the environment. City Solutions takes a holistic view of stakeholders’ needs, drawing on Shell’s global expertise and extensive partner network to seamlessly implement and deploy the best solutions.

Emily has over 12 years’ experience in business and operations roles at Shell. Prior to Shell she has started a company in technology commercialization and held leadership roles at the Singapore Economic Development Board. She holds an MBA from INSEAD, France and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

As Global Solutions Lead – Smart Cities, Jamye leads Arcadis’ market and client service focus for Smart Cities.

He has a particular passion for applying Continuous Innovation techniques to the design, development and operation of urban systems

Jamye has over 25 years of experience that spans strategy, public policy, design and delivery in transport, infrastructure and smart cities. He applies design disciplines to align human, commercial and technology outcomes.
Jamye has held leadership roles in the public and private sector, including as National Lead Partner - Transport at Deloitte, and Chief Architect for Sydney’s rail operator. He is also Founder of an incubator for early stage smart city and new mobility startups.

He is a Finalist in the Wolfson Economics Prize 2017 and Fast Company’s World Changing Ideas 2018.

Simon Long is Director of Digital & Technology for South East Asia (SEA) at CBRE. A passionate technologist, with over 15 years of consulting experience in technology projects and programs.
Having defined technology strategies and solutions across multiple verticals including finance, government, retail, and education across the globe, this wide range of experience has provided him a unique insight into the current, emerging and future technology trends.
As an evangelist of ‘experience driven technology design’ he is also keen to ensure that technology is an effective enabler of a seamless user experience and solutions truly deliver value.
Simon relocated to Singapore in 2018 to support clients across the Asia region for what he describes as “an incredible opportunity in an exciting and innovating region”. Prior to moving to Singapore, Simon was been based in London, supporting clients such as Bloomberg, Salesforce and Google across the UK, US and Europe.

Sylvia has over 20 years of real estate experience spanning business operations, finance, consulting and technology. Sylvia the Head of Digital and Business Solutions at CapitaLand Singapore, responsible for transforming its portfolio of workspaces to be ready for the future of work - developing, strategizing and implementing new space mixes and solutions for tenants, as well as leading the business’ digital and technology strategy. Prior to CapitaLand, Sylvia led the Asia Pacific Occupier Consulting business for JLL with a team of 30 consultants across 8 cities, providing advisory services such as portfolio optimization, workplace strategy and M&A due diligence. Sylvia was also instrumental in the development of JLL’s business intelligence and technology innovation offerings to clients.
