Alan’s experience in real estate spans more than twenty years, covering research, project financing and property equity analysis both locally and regionally.

Alan began his career in real estate research in 1990 with the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) focusing on property market forecasts and government land supply policy. Subsequently, he joined UOB where he was involved with project financing for large real estate deals. Alan was also the acting head of equity research for Prudential Securities, covering regional real estate and infrastructure companies before moving to investment banking with OCBC where he raised capital for companies and REITs during their Initial Public Offering. In the span of 3 years, the total amount that his team raised was over S$550 million.
Amongst the REITs that he participated in the fund-raising exercise were Lippo Mapletree Indonesian Retail Trust and First REIT. He also raised capital for Genting Singapore through one tranche of a Convertible Bond issuance for their Resorts World project in Sentosa.

Alan came on board Savills Singapore in May 2011 as Associate Director heading the Research and Consultancy team. He brings with him his rich and diverse experience in real estate. He was also an adjunct professor at the Department of Real Estate, National University of Singapore for the period 2019 to 2022.

Amara is the Head of Public Affairs at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), a globally recognised professional body, promoting and enforcing the highest professional qualifications and standards in the development and management of land, real estate, construction and infrastructure. With her team, Amara works towards the sharing and adoption of international standards and best practices in the built environment across APAC. She has over a decade of experience in government affairs working in both the private and public sectors, including for Google, the European Commission, and a Think Tank for the Malaysian government.

Donglai Luo is a senior economist at RICS with a track record of producing market-valued research reports that advance the built environment. With a wealth of expertise in macroeconomics and real estate industry, Donglai has played a vital role in managing and developing RICS' market-leading sentiment surveys, while also providing valuable research insights to build thought leadership.

Before joining RICS, Donglai was a researcher at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, where he gained a deep understanding of current macroeconomic and geopolitical trends. Prior to this, he worked as a consultant at CBRE in China, where he worked closely with commercial property teams to provide planning and development consultancy for government and developers.

Dr Lee Nai Jia is the Head of Real Estate Data Intelligence, Data and Software Solutions, PropertyGuru Group. Before joining PropertyGuru, he was the Deputy Director of the Institute of Real Estate and Urban Studies (IREUS). He actively participates in academic and applied research projects at the Institute. He provides opinions and commentaries on housing and urban policies, and is often consulted by Singapore Government Agencies, developers and banks on market trends and policy impact. Besides commenting on market trends, he also researched housing affordability measures, food security feasibility, and ESG trends. Prior to joining the private sector as the Head of Research in DTZ and Knight Frank, he was with the National University of Singapore as an academic after graduating from his PhD Programme in MIT Department of Urban Studies and Planning.
