Mr Alvin Tan was elected as a Member of Parliament in 2020, and appointed Minister of State at the Ministry of Trade & Industry (MTI), and the Ministry of Culture, Community & Youth (MCCY). He is also a Board Member at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
At MTI, Mr Tan is involved in growing Singapore’s economy, focusing on the tourism, tech startup, agri-food tech and advanced manufacturing sectors, and securing free trade agreements with Latin America. At MCCY, he is working on empowering youths, promoting mental well-being and mentoring, strengthening racial and religious harmony and supporting Singapore’s sports, arts and culture sectors. At MAS, Mr Tan is helping develop Singapore’s financial sector, including as a fintech, green finance and digital assets hub.
Before leaving the private sector to join politics, Mr Tan worked in finance and tech at companies such as Goldman Sachs, Facebook and LinkedIn. He has also worked in the United Nations and Oxfam, and in New York, Hong Kong, Sydney, and San Francisco. He has also served in the Singapore Armed Forces as an armour officer, and the Ministry of Defence in diplomacy, research and counter-terrorism roles.
Mr Tan has degrees in Economics from Sydney University and Harvard University, and was an International and Global Affairs Fellow at Harvard’s Belfer Centre for Science and International Affairs.
Nikesh (Nik) Mehta is the British High Commissioner to Singapore.
Prior to this, Nik served from 2022 to 2024 as the Director for Policy and Requirements in the UK’s National Security Community.
Nik joined the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office in 2002, and has worked in Iraq, Uganda, Malaysia and South Korea. The posting to Uganda was particularly poignant for Nik because his mother, a Ugandan-Asian, was expelled from the country by Idi Amin’s forces in the early 1970s. He reported on the 20-year conflict between the Ugandan Government and the Lord’s Resistance Army, and the ensuing humanitarian crisis. Nik was the Political Counsellor in Malaysia and was responsible for the UK’s response to the two Malaysia Airlines disasters in 2014 and 2015.
Nik’s most recent role overseas was as the Deputy Ambassador at the British Embassy in South Korea from 2018 to 2022. Alongside the Ambassador, Nik was responsible for leading the embassy through the challenges of Covid and for deepening the bilateral partnership with the Korean government. During his time in South Korea, Nik brokered an agreement with the K-pop band Blackpink to work with the British government on climate action.
In the UK, Nik’s roles have primarily focused on conflict and security issues. From 2015 to 2018, Nik was a Deputy Director at the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) working on international cyber-security.
Throughout his career, Nik has been a strong supporter of diversity and inclusion. He believes passionately that the Diplomatic and Intelligence Services should reflect fully the talent across UK society and that diversity is one of the UK’s great strengths. Nik has led a number of campaigns to improve the recruitment and development of staff from minority backgrounds. He is the National Security Community’s co-Champion for Race.
Nik was awarded at OBE in HM The Queen’s 2014 Birthday Honours for his contribution to British foreign policy and diversity.
Since August 2024, Carsten Bermig is the Head of the Climate, Energy and Nature Team at the British High Commission Singapore. He was previously Director External Relations at Climate Impact X in Singapore. Climate Impact X is a global exchange and marketplace for high-quality carbon credits.
Carsten has served over 20 years as an EU official in the European Commission in Brussels. During this time, he has been a political advisor to the European Commissioner for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs Elzbieta Bienkowska and a member of the private office of the European Commissioner for Climate Action Connie Hedegaard. He also worked as policy coordinator for economic and financial affairs in the Secretariat-General (the Commission’s central service), in the Directorate-General for Climate Action, the Directorate-General Enterprise and Industry as well as the Competition Directorate-General.
Prior to joining the European Commission, he was a researcher at the Institute for Public Economics University of Cologne and an academic assistant for economics at the College of Europe.
He graduated in economics (Diplom-Volkswirt) from the University of Cologne and holds a Master of Arts in European Studies from the College of Europe. He is currently finalising an Executive MBA student at Singapore Management University.
He also studied at Erasmus University Rotterdam, Budapest University of Economic Sciences and Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University Bonn.
Lai Shu Ying is the Director of Europe and Central Asia Division within the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) of Singapore. In her current appointment, Shu Ying is responsible for representing Singapore’s economic interests in Europe and Central Asia markets, with particular focus in the areas of the Green Economy, Digital Economy and Innovation. Shu Ying spent much of her public service career at Enterprise Singapore where she gained international market expertise and substantial familiarity with the China and Southeast Asia markets. Prior to her role at MTI, Shu Ying served as Director of Research and Data Division at the Ministry of Communications and Information (now Ministry of Digital Development and Information) where she built up new capabilities in the collection and analysis of economic and industry sentiment data across a wide range of policy and communications issues.
Linzi Boyd, successfully owned and sold two businesses before the age of 24. The second was a renowned footwear brand with a global distribution channel in 7 countries, she sold this company to Caterpillar.
She went on to build her third business working with some of the most famous brands on the high street and became very well known for building Famous Brands.
Eleven years ago she found Purpose and moved out of the world of consumer brands, to set up One Earth, (one-earth.global) a platform for good, a purpose-driven movement, amplifying the voices of united communities by connecting together on purpose, learning together to grow and trading with each other to impact change in the world.
She is a Global speaker, leading with purpose, and has grown and scaled thousands of businesses globally combining both business and people. Linzi works with the London Stock Exchange, The Mayor's Office, and the UN Global Compact.
Hu Ching heads the Net Zero Transition Programme Office at the Singapore Business Federation. His team spearheads initiatives to help enterprises better measure, reduce and report their greenhouse gas emissions, such as the Singapore Emission Factors Registry and various decarbonisation programmes for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Hu Ching marries his passion for climate change and education by serving as adjunct trainer for sustainability-related executive education programmes. He was previously Climate Regulations and Reporting Specialist at climate tech startup Terrascope and launched the Singapore office of global corporate sustainability ratings agency EcoVadis.
Hu Ching is also deeply interested in public policy, having started his career with the Singapore Government, with postings at the Public Service Division, Ministry of Social and Family Development, and the Ministry of Transport. He graduated from the London School of Economics, SciencesPo Paris, and Oxford University, where he was a founding member of the Oxford Climate Forum.

A Microsoft Gold Award and Top Sustainability Practitioner winner, Sustainability and Disruptive Transformation are a significant part of Lorena's career background, where she is currently scaling programs, building communities and partnerships that spearhead innovation and grow future leaders, both through her Microsoft and Board Director roles.
Prior to joining Microsoft, she brings 20+ years of cross industry experience in corporate advisory, management consulting, business transformation and sustainability across multiple geographies including UK, Europe, and Asia. Darren is the Vice President of Group Sustainability at CapitaLand Investment (CLI), where he spearheads ESG efforts in CLI’s Private Funds business. Prior to CapitaLand, he was the Head of Sustainability at AMP Capital Investors in Australia where he orchestrated two net-zero carbon real estate portfolios worth A$10 billion in 2021.
Darren actively contributed to industry standards, currently a member of UN PRI Circular Economy Reference Group, having served on the steering committee for the 2019 Property Council of Australia's Office Building Quality guide and was recognized as a Green Building Council of Australia Green Star Champion.
He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from University Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia, and MBA from the University of Queensland, Australia.
Evonne Tan joined Barclays in March 2021 and is currently Head of the Private Bank for Barclays Singapore. She is also a member of Barclays Singapore Management Team which oversees business strategy, risk management and governance for Barclays Bank PLC Singapore branch.
Evonne is a banking veteran with almost 3 decades of experience in the financial industry across foreign exchange trading and sales, corporate asset and liability structuring, asset management and wealth management in Singapore and Hong Kong.
For the past 19 years, Evonne has worked in wealth management with specialism in the UHNW and Family Office segment. She provides holistic wealth advisory to UHNW families on various aspects of investments and structuring including asset allocation, portfolio management, structured financing solutions, family office advisory and family governance, among others. Evonne’s particular expertise is in bespoke one-bank and structured financing solutions. Evonne is also passionate about Sustainability and Impact and work closely with her clients to define and implement their Sustainability and Impact objectives. She has been a mentor with the Unreasonable Group since November 2021, helping promising growth ventures to scale their impact efforts.
Just prior to Barclays, Evonne was Market Team Head for the UHNW Singapore business at UBS Singapore. Evonne is a graduate of the National University of Singapore and holds a Masters in Advanced Finance from the University of Bern and a Masters in Wealth Management from the University of Rochester – Simon Business School.
Sarah has over 15 years of experience working with businesses in Singapore and the UK, guiding them in embedding sustainability at the core of their operations and effectively communicating their impact. She has worked closely with global organisations to build impactful programs and drive positive change through partnerships between business, government, and civil society, working with organisations such as Unilever, Danone, Essilor, Grow Asia and Microsoft. She is a graduate of the University of Oxford and a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
Sarah joined The Earthshot Prize as Head of Asia Pacific in July 2023. Before joining The Earthshot Prize, Sarah was Head of Corporate Sustainability for Conservation International Asia Pacific.
After a successful Earthshot Week in Singapore in 2023, The Earthshot Prize is gearing up for its fourth annual awards ceremony, to take place in Cape Town in November. At this event, winners will be chosen from five categories closely aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. These categories include Protect and Restore Nature, Clean Our Air, Revive Our Oceans, Build a Waste-Free World, and Fix our Climate. This event represents a significant milestone in recognizing and celebrating innovations that have the potential to create a more sustainable and resilient world.
Mark is the co-Chairman of the Energy and Utilities Committee and co-Chairman of the Sustainability Committee at Britcham Singapore. He is involved with the Development and Construction Equity funds of Climate Investor One, a renewable energy fund, and Climate Investor Two, a water fund. These funds are backed by the various Development Finance Institutions, such as the EU, as well as institutional investors. The funds’ mission is to support renewable and water projects in Asia and Africa where funding might otherwise be difficult. Mark moved to Asia as an investment banker with Rothschild and has lived between Singapore, Jakarta and Hong Kong involved in mergers and acquisitions and capital raisings across the region. He was with Rothschild for 23 years and had a focus on energy and infrastructure. He also holds a number of directorships.
Roger Fouquet is a Senior Research Fellow at the Energy Studies Institute at the National University of Singapore, and a Visiting Senior Fellow at the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change at the London School of Economics (LSE).
He investigates the changing relationships between economic development, energy use and its environmental impacts. He has published around forty articles in international academic journals. In 2006, his joint article was chosen for the Best Paper Award in The Energy Journal. In 2010, his book, 'Heat, Power and Light', was selected as one of three Outstanding Academic Titles in Business and Economics. He is the editor of the Handbook on Energy and Climate Change, of the Handbook on Green Growth, and of the volume on The Economics of Renewable Energy.
Jonathan has been the Provost and CEO of Newcastle University in Singapore (NUiS) since January 2024 and oversees the University Singapore activities as well as contributing towards University ambitions in the wider ASEAN region. Prior to this Jonathan served as Head of Newcastle Law School from the end of April 2020 until end of 2023. Jonathan has also previously undertaken a 2 year secondment as Associate Dean (Internationalisation and Strategic Projects) for the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences with a twin portfolio covering both internationalisation and estates strategy for 10 Schools across the full spread of arts, humanities, business and social sciences.
Jonathan is primarily a competition law and regulation academic and qualified New York Attorney, with a keen interest in Corporate Governance, and comparative constitutional law. Jonathan has served as an elected Executive member of of the Committee of Heads of UK Law Schools (CHULS) and has also been appointed as an inaugural member of the Learning and Development Steering Group of the Law Society of England & Wales.
Based in Singapore, Peter serves as the chief representative of the Energy Institute (EI) in the Asia Pacific region. The UK-headquartered EI's membership increasingly reflects the growing spectrum of energy professionals throughout the sector with an ever-increasing focus on navigating the energy transition. The EI’s mission and core activities are summarised as follows:-

Also actively engaged in business development initiatives, Peter is dedicated to expediting the advancement of engineered carbon sequestration solutions, with a specific focus on Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS). His efforts extend to fostering the growth of low-carbon industrial clusters.
Suzy believes businesses have a responsibility to do good in the world as well as make a profit and she specializes in developing and executing strategies and campaigns to help them do so. Building on a 20year career in strategic communications at the highest level (14 of them spent in Asia), the last eight years has seen Suzy focused on growing her experience in sustainability, ESG and social impact, working with some of the world’s biggest brands to help drive positive change inside and outside organizations.
Suzy has worked with Unilever brands on advocacy strategies, NGO partnership and behaviour change programmes; with Danone brands on brand purpose development and capacity building; with Epson on SDG prioritization, NGO partnership strategy and employee engagement. Tom tackles energy and environmental challenges using his experience in renewable energy, sustainability strategy, demand side energy efficiency and energy import projects. Through all of his work, he aims to maximise the resilience of the network through cost effective solutions.
Electrical engineer by background, Tom is the Renewable Energy Lead for Arup Singapore, designing grid scale renewable energy and storage solutions; and advising through due diligence reviews of businesses and energy projects. Tom's wider experience includes energy and sustainability audits for hospitality projects, sustainability strategy for urban masterplans, M&E design for high-profile multi-island resort developments and energy modelling.
Tom is the current chair of the BritCham Sustainability & Resilience Committee in Singapore. He is also a Chartered Engineer, an associate of the Energy Institute, member of CIBSE and the Institute of Physics, and has a Master of Physics Degree from the University of Southampton, UK.
David Kelly is the Executive Director of the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore responsible for the strategy, growth and profile of the Chamber, supporting and representing British business interests, and connecting companies to opportunities in Singapore and across ASEAN. A Chartered Marketer, David joined the British Chamber of Commerce (Singapore) in 2019. He also has a regional role Co-Chairing Britain in South East Asia (BiSEA) promoting pan-ASEAN opportunities for UK companies. David has lived in Singapore since 2015.
Prior to his role at the Chamber, David worked at the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) where he spearheaded the development and execution of a completely reinvigorated global marketing strategy along with an Asia Pacific regional expansion plan which fortified the Institute and supported rapid growth between 2012-2019, seeing the Institute double in size from 11,000 members to 23,000 with membership in Asia Pacific increasing from 19% to 40% of global subscribers. Alongside his role at the IMarEST, he was also the Chair of the UK’s Marine Industries Leadership Council (MILC) Image Working Group from 2014 – 2016 and was involved in a number of industry reports covering skills, education & training and automation in the shipping industry.
Before the IMarEST, David led and delivered the global turn-around marketing programmes for the International Wine & Spirit Competition Group of brands in the UK, America and Asia after marketing B2B and B2C solutions, both online and offline, in the financial services industry.
Born in Manchester, UK, David is passionate about mentoring, life-long learning and supporting others and has been a mentor at Ngee Ann Polytechnic (Singapore) and the University of Hull for Business and Marketing students and a committee member on the Singapore Institute of Technology’s Marine Programmes' Industry Advisory Committee (IAC).
Xin Yi is Sustainable Finance Lead, Southeast Asia at the Carbon Trust. She drives Sustainable Finance business development and manages a range of projects across advisory and assurance services. In addition, she is actively involved in delivering training for regulators, financial institutions and corporate players in the region, tailoring various Sustainable Finance topics to the local and regional context.
Xin Yi previously spent over five years at a leading independent think tank, the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA). In her role, she coordinated the Collaborative Initiative for Green Finance in Singapore and was a co-author of the report, “Singapore as a Green Finance Hub for ASEAN and Asia” – the first Singapore-centric green finance report. Xin Yi has produced over 20 publications to date. Her writing has been featured in various local and regional media outlets such as The Business Times, The Straits Times, The Myanmar Times, TODAY, The Nation and The Jakarta Post.
Prior to this, Xin Yi was working at Sustainalytics where she evaluated and benchmarked the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices of public-listed companies in three industries: Consumer Discretionary, Food and Utilities. In 2022, Xin Yi was recognised alongside Southeast Asia’s top finance leaders in Aspire’s Future of Finance 50 List, comprising of the movers and shakers of the industry who are embracing technology, inspiring their communities and pushing finance into the future.
Clara Lee stands as an experienced technology leader, with impressive track record of over three decades in the field. Throughout her journey, she has held pivotal roles, including VP for Supply Chain, Asia and Global Chief Information Officer (CIO), spanning diverse sectors like chemicals, building materials, development banking, and real estate. Presently, she holds the esteemed position of Chief, Data Science Practice at NUS-ISS.
She has been a driving force in steering digital transformation across various enterprises. Her expertise extends beyond merely unlocking the potential value of technologies for businesses; she is dedicated to nurturing a culture of data within organizations. Russell is a climate change, energy transition and sustainable finance specialist, with over 20 years’ experience in the UK, Australia and Southeast Asia. He is an Associate Partner in EY Singapore’s Strategy and Transactions team focusing on carbon, the energy transition and sustainable finance across ASEAN.
He is currently supporting the delivery of the energy and climate components of the Australian government’s Partnership for Infrastructure programme.
From 2019 – 2022 he led the delivery of the UK government’s ASEAN Low Carbon Energy Programme, a three-year programme focused on mobilising finance to support the low carbon transition across the region.
Prior to joining EY he led a two-year project for the Essential Services Commission (ESC) in Victoria, Australia, investigating the economic, social and environmental benefits of distributed generation.
From 2009-2015 he was Director of Policy at the Clean Energy Council (CEC) in Australia, the industry association for the renewable energy sector. In this role he was responsible for the development and delivery of the CEC’s policy and advocacy work plan.
In 2014 he was the member of an expert panel appointed by the German government to review the work of the world-renowned Potsdam Institute of Climate Research. In 2015 he was the clean energy expert member of an Australian delegation to Germany to participate in expert symposium developing proposals to inform the formal Australian – German dialogue convened by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and (then) Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott.
From 1998-2008 he worked in various roles in the UK focusing on carbon and renewable energy policy. He was involved in the development of a number of the UK and EU climate policies.
Haslam grew up in Hong Kong and following service in the British army, joined Jardine Matheson in 2001, where he held various management roles across Greater China and Southeast Asia in automotive, real estate and retail. Haslam joined CapitaLand Investment as Chief People and Culture Officer in 2024.
Haslam was Chairman of BritCham Indonesia from 2011 to 2014 and has been on the board of BritCham Singapore since 2015. He currently sits on the Singapore Ministry of Manpower’s National Wage Council and is a volunteer officer in the Singapore Police Force.
Haslam has a BA in War Studies from King's College, University of London and a MA in Chinese Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He also holds a PGDip in Surveying from the College of Estate Management, Reading University and has completed the General Management Programme at Harvard Business School.
Tulika is an experienced commercial leader who has led $2B worth of transactions including fundraising and large project investments. She has hands-on experience of developing and growing renewable energy companies, coupled with more than 10 years of experience in clean energy investments (from solar to wind developers at growth to exit stages), at major energy companies and renewable funds. Tulika holds a bachelor’s degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and an MBA from the London Business School. After a long career working for companies like Schlumberger, BP, Denham Capital and Octopus Investments, in 2020 she co-founded SunGreenH2.
SunGreenH2 is an award-winning venture backed company transforming green hydrogen production from electrolysis with proprietary technology for high performance, low cost electrolyser components using advanced nanostructured materials.
Dr. Raju was born in India and studied civil engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. He completed his Masters and PhD in structural engineering in the US (Rice and Duke university) and a doctorate in geotechnical engineering from Karlsruhe University in Germany.
He has worked for Keller for over 30 years starting as a project Engineer and went on to become the Managing Director of Keller Malaysia, Singapore and India, before taking on the role of Regional Managing Director, Asia in 2005. In 2012, he joined the Group Executive Committee, and was appointed as Group Director for Engineering & Operations and nominated to the Keller plc board in 2017.
As chair of the Keller’s sustainability steering committee he has helped shape its sustainability strategy and set and work towards its net zero carbon reduction goals in 2022. He is currently a senior advisor, Sustainability for the Keller Group and heads Team Planet APAC division. His focus is on innovation and practical implementation on site for sustainability in foundation construction.
He teaches and guides research in the areas of geotechnical engineering and sustainability at the Indian Institute of Technology in Chennai, India’s top academic institution for Engineering.
Shruti Rathore is the Strategy Consulting Team Lead for Arup’s advisory practice. With over 15 years of experience in strategic advisory and planning across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and the USA, Shruti brings a wealth of knowledge to our discussion on Green Skills. Her expertise spans the transport and built environment sectors, where she has consistently helped clients tackle complex urban challenges through implementable and relevant sustainability, digital, economic, and business strategies. Shruti's planning background enables her to dissect intricate interdependencies, providing actionable recommendations for both business leaders and public sector decision-makers.
Notably, Shruti has been at the forefront of Green Economy advisory in Singapore, Brunei and Malaysia. Her work in this area has involved a deep dive into the skills landscape, identifying gaps and opportunities for action in the green sectors relevant to Southeast Asia.
Oliver Redrup is an Associate Partner based in the Singapore Infrastructure Advisory team working across the ASEAN region. He advises government and private sector clients on the development, financing, procurement and delivery of complex, large-scale infrastructure projects and programs.
Oliver is a proven leader of complex engagements with extensive experience in delivering major infrastructure and urban investment projects and programs. He has over 17 years of experience across all infrastructure sectors, has worked extensively throughout ASEAN and the UK, and provided expertise to clients in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and the US. He has been based in Singapore for 12 years.
Sandra Seah is a corporate lawyer with Bird & Bird, a global legal practice. She has extensive experience in regulatory laws, transformation projects, public procurement and cross-border M&A and collaborations. She specialises in energy regulation, projects and transactions.
She advises a large number of regulators and agencies and also assists multinational corporations in their commercial contracts and corporate set up to capitalise on Singapore's strength as a key business hub in Asia. Her work involves large scale utility projects, regulatory and commercial contracts, public procurement, built to suit and sustainable investments in Singapore and the region. She enjoys working on projects which harness technology and innovation in sectors such as clean energy, sustainable infrastructure, smart cities, manufacturing and healthcare.
Sandra has worked on a number of innovative public projects in Singapore, such as the Southeast Asia’s largest BESS, the ongoing low- or zero-carbon NH3 studies for generation and bunkering, Pulau Ubin Microgrid project, Electricity Futures, Building Retrofit Energy Efficiency Financing (BREEF) and the first CC-in-a-Mall concept.
She serves on the Board/Exco of a number of industry associations such as SEAS, HFCAS, WMRAS and GCNS. She also advises Children’s Wishing Well, a registered charity.
Stephen Skalecki is a seasoned Chartered Environmentalist with 12 years of experience spearheading ESG and sustainability initiatives across multiple sectors. As a strategic thinker, Stephen has consistently advanced sustainability practices, aligning them with global sustainability trends and contributing to significant environmental outcomes.
With an Honours in Environmental Management from the University of Leeds, Stephen specializes in ESG, Sustainability and Climate Change consultancy. He has led sustainability and climate change strategy and roadmap development within the Real Estate, finance, construction and built environment industries, as well as managing the environmental and sustainability proposals for some of the largest transport and infrastructure projects in Europe.
Stephen is experienced with net-zero targets, developing sustainability and climate change strategies and their implementation, carbon footprint assessment and reporting, waste management, circular economy and biodiversity net-gain.
Josette is a Deloitte Sustainability & Climate Advisory & Assurance Partner based in Singapore, leading the ESG Assurance practice with 17+ years' of professional service experience. She is a trusted advisor at the intersection of sustainability and finance. Her team offers diverse services including narrative reporting, climate reporting, and ISAE 3000 assurance.
Mike Watt leads Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore's Future Shipping Team for South Asia & Pacific. This team is dedicated to empowering the region's maritime industry in its transition towards new technologies and emission reductions. They achieve this by collaborating with customers to develop bespoke solutions that address their biggest challenges in areas like decarbonisation, digitalisation and innovation.

A Chartered Marine Engineer and holder of an MSc in Engineering for Marine Professionals and an MBA in Maritime Business, Mike possesses the technical expertise and business acumen to navigate the complexities of the future maritime landscape.
Beyond his professional role, Mike actively contributes to the industry by volunteering as the current Chairman of the Singapore Joint Branch for the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) and the Royal Institution of Naval Architects (RINA). This dedication reflects his passion for advancing the marine industry as a whole.
Sook Lai is JLR’s Head of Transformation & Continuous Improvement of the Asia Pacific Office in Singapore. In this capacity, she is in charge of all Transformational workstreams that help drive and support the key pillars of Growth & Strategy in the region. One of the key points in JLR’s 2030 Reimagine Strategy is on sustainability and net zero carbon emissions.
Prior to taking on this new role, she was responsible for managing Product & Pricing in the region, ensuring that the optimal product offering is provided based on each market’s unique landscape and taxation structure.
Lucy is Director within the Sustainability Office of Global Wholesale Banking at OCBC. She advises and works with corporates to harmonize their sustainability strategy with their fund-raising activities via sustainable financing instruments. Prior to joining OCBC, her experience was in sustainability & climate risk management in the financial sector, specifically working on embedding environmental & social risks considerations into Banks’ lending decisions.
