Elena is based in Singapore, and is part of BP’s Global D&I team. Her role is responsible for shaping and delivering the BP D&I Ambition across the AsPac region, in partnership with HR, line managers and other Centres of Expertise.
Elena has extensive HR career. She joined BP in 2004 and has held a number of HR business-facing roles across various sectors driving initiatives and change in the business in support of the People Agenda. She was HR Business Partner to Castrol Global Marketing and Global Marine & Energy teams. Earlier she held regional Resourcing and Industrial Relations roles. Prior to BP, Elena worked in HR and client relationship roles in Singapore and Russia.
Elena holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Edinburgh Napier University, a Graduate Diploma in Human Capital Management from the Singapore HR Institute and a Master’s degree in Physics from Moscow Engineering Physics University in Russia.
Sian has 20 years of change management and leadership experience within Investment Banking across Asia, Europe and North America. Her banking career began in London in 1997 with Credit Suisse. Sian moved to Japan in 2006 with RBS to build the FI and Equities businesses, later transferring to Hong Kong to manage the ABN Integration, before moving to Singapore in 2010 to build out a Business Change team before moving into her current role with Barclays in early 2015. Sian holds a BSc degree in Computing and Accounting and is CIMA qualified. She is married with 2 young sons.
Wilma Gerber is the Chief Operating Officer for Project and Development Services at JLL for the Asia Pacific region and is also responsible for delivering on JLL’s D&I strategic priorities. Having spent most of her career in the tech industry, Wilma joined the real estate industry 3 years ago, drawn by the opportunity to transform real estate through the convergence of technology. She is a strong proponent of D&I as a necessity to drive innovation.
Prior to JLL, Wilma led the Project Management and Systems Integration Practice for Cisco’s Advanced Services Division in APAC.
Originally from South Africa, she spent 11 years working in Europe before relocating to Asia which has been home for 10 years. Wilma holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD and is an advocate of business as a force for good.
Sarah heads up Diversity & Inclusion for Johnson & Johnson, Asia Pacific. In this role she partners with senior business and human resources leaders to provide Diversity & Inclusion expertise, develop strategic insights, share internal and external best practices, and ensure regional relevancy of Johnson & Johnson’s enterprise strategy. Sarah collaborates with global and regional Employee Resource Group leaders to generate engagement, establish governance and consistent approaches in imbedding a culture of inclusion across the region. Over her 10+ years with Johnson & Johnson, Sarah has worked in a variety of local & regional roles, with experiences including HR business partnering, merger & acquisitions, compensation & benefits management, organization development and design, and talent management. Prior to her current role, she was based in Japan for three years as the HR Leader for the Supply Chain function as well as the Vision Care business in Japan, partnering with Johnson & Johnson leaders to establish and execute on a clear talent strategy. During her time as an HR leader in Japan she also led the development of the Diversity & Inclusion Strategy, establishing the first internal LGBT Employee Resources Group outside of the US as well as Japan’s Work Life Balance Strategy “Switch!” contributing towards J&J Japan’s Nikkei rankings on Gender Diversity (1st in 2018) and Employee Empowerment (1st in 2016). Over her 20+ year career Sarah has established herself as passionate advocate for diverse talent and inclusive environments to drive innovation, and igniting grass roots talent to connect personal purpose to value for the enterprise, coaching and empowering talent to maximize their fullest potential.
