Magda Chelly, PhD, S-CISO, CISSP
Head of Cyber Risk Consulting, Asia at Marsh (Singapore) Pte LtdMagda Chelly is currently leading Cyber Advisory for Marsh Asia. She is also the founder of WoSEC (Women of Security) Singapore Chapter. She co-founded a cybersecurity startup Responsible Cyber in Singapore, currently valued at SGD 7 million. She has a PhD in Telecommunication Engineering, is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a Certified Information Security Officer (S-CISO). She held several Chief Information Security Officer roles for medium and large organisations across Asia and internationally.
Ms Chelly has built cyber security strategies for companies, and provided guidance; from governance and security architecture to security operations. She has a hands-on experience with penetration testing and technical cloud security across main cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure). Ms Chelly is also a serial entrepreneur, and she has been nominated as a TOP 50 International cyber security influencer internationally and is among "58 Women In Cybersecurity To Follow On Twitter”.
Edward Farrelly
Senior Vice President at Marsh Hong KongEdward is responsible for coordinating, developing and monitoring the Marsh Real Estate Industry Practice Plan, which drives specialized, industry-led client servicing efforts for Real Estate firms across the region. He is intimately acquainted with the operational requirements and realities of firms in the industry, providing clients with tailored advice across the diverse range of risks faced by their businesses
Edward is also pivotal in facilitating interaction with other international Practice groups, wider MMC resources and the insurance market in general. As a recognized Real Estate leader, he collaborates with appropriate industry associations and co-ordinates marketing activities.
Prior to joining Marsh, Edward spent over 12 years with CBRE, which is also a Fortune 500 firm. There, he held leadership positions across several functions, including servicing of key accounts, providing advisory & transaction services, research, and business development.
He specializes in identifying growth areas in Real Estate, drilling down to pinpoint opportunities and execute in accordance with clients’ requirements. He has advised on all manner of transactions in both Europe and Asia, across the client spectrum – Occupiers, Landlords, REITS, Investment Funds, Private Investors and Government Entities. Edward has also performed the role of company spokesperson, speaking at key conferences and appearing on national, regional and global media platforms to promote company activity, aligned with client interests.
Danial Yuan
Senior Program Manager, Digital Workplace at MicrosoftDaniel is digital transformation leader with more than 20 years’ experience in managing global and regional program. He is responsible for driving the digital workplace transformation in Asia, including evaluation and implementation of smart building and IoT solution to meet the unique business needs from each subsidiary in-line with the office move or major refresh projects.
Daniel has technical consultancy and advisory experience in evaluating and landing cutting edge solution by adopting Cloud, Mobile and IoT technology. In delivering the digital workplace programs, Daniel actively manages compliance requirement (security, privacy and regulatory) and accessibility needs especially in IoT solutions.
