Camilla is an arbitration lawyer (qualifying in London in 2004) and was a senior associate in the Ashurst Singapore disputes team until 2012. She moved to Singapore in 2008. Camilla was Deputy Registrar at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) in 2012/2013. Camilla joined CIArb in June 2015 as Director for Asia Pacific.

She has extensive experience in international arbitration and specifically in construction and commercial disputes. She was seconded to a Japanese trading company, working on various projects throughout APAC. She also has mediation experience.

Camilla is responsible for overseeing the strategic development of CIArb in Asia Pacific. Camilla works closely with the active branch network in the region in the delivery of member and educational services. Camilla is committed to the growth of ADR and to its enormous benefits. Camilla is a CIArb tutor and regularly teaches on CIArb courses.

Ben Olbourne is an experienced English barrister, advocate and arbitrator attached to 39 Essex Chambers. He specialises in international arbitration and has been instructed as counsel in more than 200 arbitrations under most leading arbitration rules and many different governing laws (including English, Australian, Indian, Singaporean, Malaysian, Korean, HK, and Chinese). His principal areas of practice are construction and infrastructure (onshore/offshore), oil and gas and other natural resources, joint venture and other business disputes (including sale and purchase agreements, agency contracts, shareholder disputes), commodities, and maritime. He has been recommended for many years for his work as advocate in these areas in the leading regional and global directories.

Ben also sits as an arbitrator and has been appointed in more than 25 references in a number of different countries under ICC, LCIA, SIAC and UNCITRAL rules. Among others, he is currently sitting in two ICC arbitrations seated in India concerning the construction of a steel plant and has recently issued awards in a London-seated arbitration concerning sea-bed pipe lines, a Singapore-seated arbitration concerning Indian coal supply contracts, and a Singapore seated arbitration concerning regional air-freight services. He is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a member of that organisation’s Approved Faculty, and is on the panel of arbitrators of many regional arbitral institutions including SIAC, AIAC, ACICA, AMTAC, and THAC. He has also been appointed as a member (including chairperson) of dispute review boards for large commercial projects. He regularly lectures and teaches on all aspects of arbitration law and procedure.

Simon Petch is a partner in the finance team of Watson Farley & Williams LLP, Singapore, specialising in the maritime sector. He advises banks and other financial institutions, owners and operators on all aspects of maritime finance, ship and offshore asset operations, and restructuring and work-outs.

Simon trained and practised at Sinclair, Roche & Temperley in London before moving to Greece in 1997 with Stephenson Harwood to assist with setting up their Piraeus office. Simon joined Watson Farley & Williams in 2006 and relocated to Singapore in 2012.

Simon also worked for a number of years in the yachting sector as a delivery skipper. He is also an Ambassador for the Sailor's Society.
