Chris is an experienced recruitment professional with 15 years’ consulting experience across the UK and Asia. He has a proven track record of building and leading sustainable and profitable recruitment teams with a commitment to provide the highest possible service levels to candidates and clients. Chris is the Regional Managing Director for the Asia business with responsibility for its growth and the delivery of recruitment solutions for permanent and contract recruitment in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia across Banking & Financial Services, Finance & Accounting, Information Technology, Sales & Marketing, and Supply Chain & Procurement.
A big advocate of CSR and Diversity & Inclusion, Chris is immensely proud to work for a business that achieves fantastic results but is also committed to giving back to communities in need. Over the last 12 months in Asia, Ambition has raised over $50,000 for various causes, launched Ambition Back to Work program, and taken part in UNICEF Charity Runs, working with underprivileged children, running LGBT+ training sessions for young College Performers and many more.

Prior to working with Ambition, Chris started his career in the Technology field in London as a Management Consultant with global US management consultancy firm Accenture. Upon deciding that he was not a “techie”, Chris moved into the recruitment field where he spent 10 years with Page Group Hong Kong in a variety of leadership roles.

Sarah heads up Diversity & Inclusion for Johnson & Johnson, Asia Pacific. In this role she partners with senior business and human resources leaders to provide Diversity & Inclusion expertise, develop strategic insights, share internal and external best practices, and ensure regional relevancy of Johnson & Johnson’s enterprise strategy. Sarah collaborates with global and regional Employee Resource Group leaders to generate engagement, establish governance and consistent approaches in imbedding a culture of inclusion across the region. Over her 10+ years with Johnson & Johnson, Sarah has worked in a variety of local & regional roles, with experiences including HR business partnering, merger & acquisitions, compensation & benefits management, organization development and design, and talent management. Prior to her current role, she was based in Japan for three years as the HR Leader for the Supply Chain function as well as the Vision Care business in Japan, partnering with Johnson & Johnson leaders to establish and execute on a clear talent strategy. During her time as an HR leader in Japan she also led the development of the Diversity & Inclusion Strategy, establishing the first internal LGBT Employee Resources Group outside of the US as well as Japan’s Work Life Balance Strategy “Switch!” contributing towards J&J Japan’s Nikkei rankings on Gender Diversity (1st in 2018) and Employee Empowerment (1st in 2016). Over her 20+ year career Sarah has established herself as passionate advocate for diverse talent and inclusive environments to drive innovation, and igniting grass roots talent to connect personal purpose to value for the enterprise, coaching and empowering talent to maximize their fullest potential.

Charu heads Talent Acquisition for Technology, Operations and Enterprise Control Functions for Bank of America in APAC. In her role, she partners closely with LoBs and HR to develop and deliver Talent acquisition strategies as well to execute on key HR priorities aligned to business objectives. Charu also leads certain D&I initiatives in the region.

Prior to joining Bank of America, Charu has worked with organizations like American Express, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Goldman Sachs, Intel and KornFerry.

Djad Trenerry has been Expedia Group’s HR leader for Expedia’s fast growing vacational rental category in Asia Pacific for the past 7 years. He’s responsible for ensuring the engagement of culturally diverse, high performing teams across the region including under Expedia Groups well-known local brands, Vrbo, Stayz, Bookabach, YesBookit! and HomeAway.

Djad has more than 14 years’ HR leadership experience, including partnering with leaders on several significant acquisitions in Asia. He has experience with teams spanning Australia & New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, India and Colombia. Prior to joining Expedia, Djad’s career spanned HR leadership roles in Recruitment, IT Managed Services, Telco and Marketing industries.

Born in Melbourne, Australia, Djad has lived in Singapore for the past 3 years. Outside work, Djad is passionate about travel, Italian language & culture and hopes to be spotted on a bike trail at East Coast Park but is more likely to be spending time at home with his wife and two young children.

Zsuzsanna is an expert and a passionate supporter of global leadership, inclusive leadership, gender equality and cultural intelligence. Her work over the past 30 years has spanned Asia, US and Europe, in consulting as well as executive education (INSEAD, IMD, NUS and SMU in the APAC region). She is author of The Culture Key between Asia and the West (2019). Zsuzsanna earned a Ph.D. in international business at London Business School, UK, and an MBA at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. In her first degree she graduated as an economist from the Corvinus University in Budapest, Hungary.
