Tour of Microsoft Technology & Cyber Security Centres

Microsoft is delighted to extend an invitation to members of the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore to tour their regional technology centres, here in Singapore, on the evening of Tuesday 21st May.

During this event, BritCham members will experience glimpses into how technology will impact individuals, organisations and society through an exclusive, invitation-only and hands-on experience.

Commencing at 5.00pm, BritCham members will receive a personally guided tour of two Microsoft facilities:

Microsoft Technology Centre (MTC)

Microsoft has over 40 of these centres across the globe, including 7 here in Asia. They provide a rich, interactive and immersive experience for business leaders to learn first-hand how technology can help their organisation to digitally transform and what the future holds in terms of technology innovation. The tour will showcase technology in areas such as mixed/augmented reality, machine learning, cognitive services and artificial intelligence.

Microsoft Cyber Security Centre (CSC)

Despite all the innovation showcased at the Microsoft Technology Centre, the fact remains that people will not embrace any of this technology unless they trust it. That is why Microsoft invests over US$1billion per year in cybersecurity. During the Cyber Security Centre tour, you will learn about Microsoft's holistic approach to delivering the security needs of the public and private sector and building a trusted and secure computing environment, a critical enabler for digital transformation.

Each tour will take approximately 40 mins. After both are completed, BritCham members will have the opportunity to network with – and ask questions of - Microsoft executives over drinks and light snacks.
