Bendita Cynthia Malakia is the Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Hogan Lovells.

Bendita leads Hogan Lovells’ global diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (D&I) efforts with the aim of ensuring that diverse professionals can thrive. Bendita’s primary remit is to serve as architect and executor of the firm’s D&I strategy, for the benefit of the firm’s people, its culture and clients. Bendita serves as a catalyst for underrepresented colleagues to be their authentic selves in the workplace and for others to invest in them, and working across difference to create community – by building systems, inspiring investment, and cultivating connections. With a focus on metrics and a people-centric approach, Bendita also leverages her D&I expertise consult with clients. Bendita draws on her prior experiences as a large law firm lawyer financing projects in emerging markets, in-house counsel at two global financial institutions, a diversity consultant for large and mid-size
organizations, and a certified professional coach to cultivate change institutionally and individually. Bendita's thought leadership and advocacy extend to being a prolific writer and speaker on D&I in the workplace, with specialized expertise in intersectionality and LGBT+ issues. She is Treasurer of the
National LGBT Bar, and contributes to the development of D&I more broadly through initiatives bringing metrics and accountability globally. Bendita graduated from Harvard Law School and Barnard College.

Rupali is a Principal, leading the Talent Consulting Solutions for Singapore. She brings a good mix of design ability along with implementation capability due to her experience in Management Consulting and line HR. She has international exposure to the US, UK, Brazil, Netherlands, Canada and Asia Pacific (Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea)

Rupali helps clients define the future of work through Job Redesign, Competency definition, Assessment and Development of learning roadmaps. She is leading some key projects across Competency Development for the Information Technology industry, a Government agency and Job Redesign work for a community healthcare provider. She is also shaping a massive reskilling initiative for Telecom with Career Coaching support and ongoing learning support or a newly established organization.

Rupali started her career in Accenture Technology, where she played a key role in rolling out a career program across 5 countries and 2 workforces. Spearheaded communications, managed multiple stakeholders, worked with Business, Finance, Relocation Management, other country HR teams and employees to support seamless integration. Assessed business manpower requirements, developed sourcing strategies based on resource availability and suggested alternative sourcing options. Optimized demand fulfillment, designed and implemented bench management strategies and initiatives.
She moved to Accenture Consulting, where she led projects across geographies and industries (apparel manufacturer, Indian chemicals company, Japanese cosmetics company, Global Telecom, utility company and a Global ITes firm). She has led HR Transformation projects to design and deploy a new operating model, technology & processes; Served as an interim HR lead; Designed and led an end-to-end leadership development program for top leaders across regions.

After leading the Talent Management, Leadership Development, Learning & Development and special projects for Mundipharma across Asia Pacific, Latin America, Middle East and Africa; Rupali has joined the Mercer Singapore team as a Principal to lead Talent Consulting.

Hayley Bakker is the CPO and Co-Founder of Diversely.io, an end-to-end hiring platform that uses tech to reduce bias in the hiring process for businesses.

As a former consulting and finance professional, Hayley brings tech experience gained from launching her talent off-shoring start-up, Colibri Growth, to lead the product and tech elements of Diversely. Co-founding Diversely with the company’s CEO Helen McGuire in April 2020, she is following a long-held passion to find a sustainable solution to workplace inequality; an area she has a demonstrated history with as MD of Girls In Tech in Singapore from 2018 to 2020.

With a vision for the company to reduce workplace bias for all those from under-represented groups by creating a scalable, global solution through the use of AI-driven tech, Diversely successfully completed its pre-seed round in November of 2020 and has a five-strong team working to deliver online solutions for its clients in beta, with a full launch expected in Q2 2021. With Hayley’s finance, tech and product background, she is a fierce advocate for under-represented groups in this space and continues to host, speak at and join events globally on the topics of diversity, equality and inclusion in tech.

Hayley has an academic background in engineering and finance, and began her career at an International bank in Hong Kong. Another five years spent in consulting - in M&A and business transformation - in Amsterdam and Singapore, led her back into banking, working with business, product and tech to make Standard Chartered Bank globally more client centric, cost-efficient and a better place to work. Concurrently, she picked up new core skills including human-centered design, agile methodologies and UX/UI design.
