Chris Southworth is Secretary General at the International Chamber of Commerce UK and a regular voice for business in the international media. He is also Co-Chair of the Legal Reform Advisory Board at the ICC Digital Standards Initiative, co-founder of the UK Centre for Digital Trade and Innovation and ICC Representative to The Commonwealth. He is a member of the ICC World Council as well as the International Advisory Boards of the Digital Trade Network and Queen Mary-UNIDROIT Institute of Transnational Commercial Law.

Chris is a leading international expert on creating modern digital trade ecosystems, the founder of the ICC Digital Trade Roadmap, a member of the global team supporting the ICC Digital Standards Initiative, ICC G7 United Kingdom representative, a member of the ICC G7, G20, Digitisation and Ecommerce Working Groups. He is also a lead independent adviser to the UK government on the digitisation of trade on behalf of industry working with the Department for International Trade, Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs, Her Majesty’s Treasury and Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.

Prior to joining ICC, he was Executive Director for Global Partnerships, at the British Chambers of Commerce, Head of the International Chambers of Commerce Unit at UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) and a Senior Policy Advisor to Lord Heseltine, former Deputy Prime Minister, for his independent review of UK competitiveness. In 2011 he was advisor to the Minister for Trade and Investment for the government review of mid-size businesses and consequent establishment of the mid-size business export programme. Former roles have encompassed deregulatory and social enterprise policy at the Department for Business.

Kaushik has more than 25 years’ experience in Business and Digital Transformation engagements globally, in leadership roles in Asia-Pacific and the USA. Currently, Kaushik is a Principal Advisor with Ecosystm and also runs his own boutique consulting practice as a Strategy Consultant, Value Advisor for Digital Technologies, Sales Transformation Consultant and a Supply Chain Expert.

His expertise lies in his ability to cut across the entire spectrum of business strategy to execution, develop relationships from C-Level to business users and program manage the entire process

Kaushik has helped facilitate Business / Functional Unit and Digital Strategy development in Transportation, Consumer Products, Retail, Consumer Electronics cross a diverse set of Industries including Travel &, Automotive, and Industrial Manufacturing, across Asia and North America. This has included career stints with PwC Consulting, IBM, SAP and Oracle.

He has also driven business transformation programs across multiple industries and counts among his clientele PPG, HP, Equinix, Fuji Xerox, Huawei, Foxconn, Motorola and Uniqlo among others.

Tze Tze is responsible for global trade and receivables finance product and proposition for HSBC Singapore. She has 30 years of experience in banking, and has spent the last 20 years in transaction banking, specializing in documentary trade and supply chain financing. In HSBC, she leads the Global Documentary Trade team, and is also responsible for Product, Propositions, Implementation and Solutions Structuring in GTRF Singapore. She has actively participated in trade digitalization conversations, industry initiatives and is familiar with the Fintech scene based in Singapore. Tze Tze is on the Evaluation Panel of MAS’ FSTI POC Scheme.

With 15 years’ experience in supply chains, policy and business development, Hannah Nguyen is a dedicated advocate for trade digitalization as a means to foster a dynamic, sustainable, and inclusive future. Her role as Director of Digital Ecosystems at ICC’s Digital Standards Initiative (DSI) is transforming the industry by uniting businesses, standards development organizations, solution providers, governments, and inter-government organizations in the common quest to promote policy coherence and harmonise digital trading standards that benefit everyone, everywhere.

Significant milestones include co-authoring the first Standards Toolkit for Cross-border Paperless Trade with the World Trade Organization (WTO), co-producing the Certificate in Digital Trade Strategy (CDTS) in partnership with ICC Academy, and spearheading the inaugural Future Trade Forum in Singapore in March 2023.

Her prior experience includes leading business development for C. Steinweg Group that resulted in significant expansions for its commodity logistics business in Southeast Asia; promoting Singapore as the premier regional hub for the trading of commodities and derivatives through Enterprise Singapore; and conducting market intelligence to advise corporates interested in competing and growing their businesses in Asia Pacific.
