About the Event

Join us for a fireside chat with Sir Jonathon Porritt, author of Hope in Hell and Founder Director of leading international sustainability non-profit Forum for the Future, as he shares his wealth of experience both on the frontlines of environmental campaigning and on 'the inside' with businesses and policymakers over the decades.
The latest IPCC report said that it's 'now or never' for us to avoid climate catastrophe, and there is no time to waste. But in this pivotal moment, present narratives on the climate emergency are more bleak than hopeful, with news from extreme weather events to livelihoods disrupted because of changing climates recurring in the headlines. Between the bad news and countless reports to comb through following COP27, how can we, as business leaders, citizens and people, find the hope needed and take action in this decisive decade?
