    David Kelly is the Executive Director of the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore, responsible for the strategy, growth and profile of the Chamber to support businesses and connect opportunities with the UK and across ASEAN. A Chartered Marketer, David joined the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore in 2019. David has lived in Singapore since 2015.

    Prior to his role at the Chamber, David worked at the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science and Technology (IMarEST) where he spearheaded the development and execution of a completely reinvigorated global marketing strategy along with an Asia Pacific regional expansion plan which fortified the Institute and supported rapid growth between 2012-2019, seeing the Institute double in size from 11,000 members to 23,000 with membership in Asia Pacific increasing from 19% to 40% of global subscribers. Alongside his role at the IMarEST, he was also the Chair of the UK’s Marine Industries Leadership Council (MILC) Image Working Group from 2014 – 2016 and was involved in a number of industry reports covering skills, education & training and automation in the shipping industry.

    Before the IMarEST, David led and delivered the global marketing programmes for the International Wine & Spirit Competition Group of brands in the UK, America and Asia after marketing B2B and B2C solutions, both online and offline, in the financial services industry.

    Born in Manchester, UK, David is passionate about mentoring and supporting others and is a mentor at Ngee Ann Polytechnic (Singapore) for Business and Marketing students and a committee member on the Singapore Institute of Technology’s Marine Programmes' Industry Advisory Committee (IAC).

    Paul is an experienced Executive Business Manager with a wealth of experience in International markets having worked and lived in the Middle East for more than 30 years. Paul has an electrical background, previously working for several private and family businesses within the electrical switchgear and system integration industry.

    During the last 20 years overseas he was responsible for building, developing and managing agency, distributor and channel partners in the Middle East and African region for one of the largest power and automation companies in the world, ABB, with a prime role of Vice President Middle East and Africa for the automation products division. Paul was also a board member and was involved in ABB’s investment and acquisition programme.

    Following a return to the UK in 2011 Paul headed up an international team within an energy management solutions company rolling out their product range across Europe, Middle East, South East Asia and Australia.
    Paul’s previous role was with the Department for International Trade (formerly UK Trade & Investment), heading up in the Midlands, the overseas business network initiative. He was developing and supporting a global network of business led partner organisations, to offer a wide range of high quality support in key markets, particularly South East Asia, for exporting companies.

    Emma Ross is the General Manager and Head of Business Development for Incite, responsible for corporate strategy, business growth and client outreach. Incite is a leading Export Development Agency for Food & Beverage Brands entering the high-growth markets of Asia.

    Prior to her role at Incite, Emma was the Hong Kong Managing Director at PSDq Group where she established a client base across seven new sectors and five countries, transacted business in twelve Asian countries and established the first Energy Trading desk in Asia.
    When entering her career abroad, Emma spent fourteen years with Hays Recruiting, responsible for launching Hays PLC in Asia. During her tenure Emma successfully rolled out multinational businesses from concept to execution across Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing operations.

    A strategic thinker and inspirational leader, Emma’s cross-disciplinarian skills span deal making, export development, business optimisation and gap analysis.

    A UK native, Emma has lived and worked abroad in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Indonesia for twenty years. She has been welcomed as a keynote speaker for The British Chamber of Commerce across Asia on multiple occasions. Emma has also had external recognition with expert contributions to Bloomberg, CNN and Investor Road Shows. As of January 2020, Emma has been selected to chair the F&B Advisory Board for British Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.
