Syed Abdul Rahman Alsagoff has always had a passion for solving puzzles and understanding why things happen the way they do. This inquisitive nature set him on a path to understanding how the constant evolution of technology has impacted both defences and offences in cybersecurity. In his current role as Cloud and Endpoint Security Sales Specialist for ASEAN and Korea in Cisco, Syed had helped many organisations achieve an effective security posture while making their transition to the cloud. He prides himself on being a trusted advisor on cloud security and enjoys working together with both customers and channel partners in developing a holistic security strategy while embracing new trends.

Syed has held multiple roles in Technical Sales over his 10 years in Cisco, covering architectures of enterprise networking, collaboration and cybersecurity. Prior to being a product specialist, he was the regional channel engineering lead for partners in ASEAN, developing managed services models, building up go-to-market strategies and enabling engineers in the industry on cyber.
