Andrew Ashman
Head of APAC Loan Syndicate at Barclays Bank PLC
Andrew has been a member of the Barclays Investment Banking team for over fifteen years, covering the origination and distribution of investment grade, LBO and structured finance loans in the Asian and European loan markets.
In his current role, Andrew heads the APAC Loan Syndicate team at Barclays, based in Singapore, with a focus on the underwriting and distribution of loans from across Asia and Australia.
Andrew is Chair of Asia Pacific Loan Market Association’s (APLMA) Singapore branch and is a member of APLMA’s Green and Sustainable Loan Committee, which was instrumental in
developing the APLMA/LMA/LSTA Green Loan Principles. Andrew also sits on the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Green Finance Industry Taskforce with a mandate to accelerate the development of green finance across ASEAN.
Andrew is Chair of the British Chamber of Commerce’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee and represents Barclays as D&I sponsor at Britcham.
Prior to Barclays, Andrew has held positions at Citigroup in London and Frankfurt, AMP in Sydney and Capco in London.
Andrew holds an M.Eng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, University of London and a MBA in Finance from London Business School.

Theresa Goh
Para-athlete
Theresa Goh is a Queer Paralympic Swimmer from Singapore. She represented her country internationally for 20 years before retiring end of 2019. A former world record holder in the 50m and 200m Breaststroke SB4 category, she finally clinched a bronze medal in the 100m breaststroke SB4 category, at the Rio Paralympics on her 4th Games outing. She is an advocate for LGBTQ rights especially in Singapore, but also aims to be a voice for other causes that speak to her. Theresa strongly believes in the importance of seeing the ability in a person without erasing their disability.
Tim Newenham
Director of Performance and Pathway at Singapore Disability Sports Council
Tim completed graduate and undergraduate studies at Loughborough University, where he specialised in Sports Science with Management and became an international athlete in javelin and bobsleigh.
His professional leadership appointments have included GB National Coach, National Coach
Mentor, Performance Director, CEO and he has been personal coach to disabled athletes and able-bodied athletes alike.
Apart from being based in the UK, Tim has also worked in Saudi Arabia, Malaysia and Oman prior to commencing as Performance and Pathway Director with Singapore Disability Sports Council, where he focuses on Para sports.
His passion is helping people unlock their potential both in sport and through sport.
Yip Pin Xiu
Para-athlete
Yip Pin Xiu is a Singaporean backstroke swimmer who is the country’s most decorated Olympic athlete. She is the five time paralympic gold medallist and holds two world records for 50 metres S2 and 100 metres S2. She is also a former Nominated Member of Parliament in Singapore and currently serves on the athlete committee of the World Anti-Doping Agency. In 2016 she was awarded the Pingat Jasa Gemilang (Meritorious Service Medal at the National Day Celebration)
