About the Event

The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore is pleased to present the third event of four in this exciting G20 Event Series, partnering with G20 country Embassies/High Commissions and Chambers of Commerce in Singapore. This next event will take place on April 20th with participating partners: the High Commission of Canada in Singapore; AustCham Singapore, Australian High Commission, Singapore; Embassy of Brazil in Singapore; British Chamber of Commerce Singapore; British High Commission Singapore and the Latin American Chamber of Commerce, Singapore.

Energy transition will be the event focus, which is very fitting, as the theme for the 2023 G20 is LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment), leading to globally transformative actions resulting in a cleaner, greener and bluer future. The G20 energy transition working group places an emphasis on energy security, accessibility and affordability, energy efficiency, renewable energy, innovation, technology and financing. Tim founded Energy Strat Asia in 2019 to support specialist energy services and technology companies innovate, develop and grow in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

He spent over two decades in KPMG establishing and building the Energy & Natural Resources practice as Global Executive Director. He came to Singapore in 2012 and has relationships with international and national energy companies, government, regulators, industry bodies, academia and financial players.

He is a regular participant at the Singapore Energy Summit at the Singapore International Energy Week, hosting the regulatory session in 2019 and the Low Carbon Economy panel session and COP26 ThinkTank Roundtable in 2020 and Regional Interconnectivity, Technology, Asian Downstream Summit and COP26 ThinkTank Roundtables in 2021 and 2022 and moderated the ASEAN energy dialogue series with the International Energy Agency’s Executive Director. He is a regular panellist on diversity & inclusion roundtables.
