About the Event
Registrations are now open for our Dialogue with Minister for Manpower, Dr Tan See Leng, and Annual General Meeting (AGM). The event will take place on April 28 from 3.45 PM - 7.00 PM at the NTUC Auditorium, where we expect over 100 guests in what will be the largest in-person event we have held since 2019. This event is generously supported by Title Event Partner, DFI Retail Group.
In the first half of the event, sponsored by our Official Future of Work Partner Globalization Partners, we welcome our special guest Minister for Manpower Dr Tan See Leng, who will engage in a moderated dialogue with members led by Chamber President Richard Warburton. This is a timely opportunity for members following the recent announcement of the COMPASS employment pass framework.
In the second half, during our formal AGM proceedings, members will hear from Richard along with Treasurer Christina Mason and Executive Director David Kelly on the Chamber's achievements and activities during the past 12 months, as well as the plans and initiatives for 2022. This event will also mark the official term end for the Committee (Board) members of 2021/22 and the commencement of the new term for 2022/23.
Ticket options are available for attending both the MOM Dialogue and the AGM, or a single session. Organisations holding any type of company membership are encouraged to register at least one person to attend the AGM session on their behalf, preferably the Primary Member (who by default holds Voting Rights during the formal AGM proceedings).
If you are a primary member and cannot attend, you may nominate a proxy in your place, simply have them register for the event and make sure you sign the proxy form and return it to us ahead of the day.
If you have any questions to raise at the AGM we ask you to send them directly to richard@britcham.org.sg prior to the event.
