Dennis Tan is CEO of Prudential Singapore as well as Council Member at IBF Singapore.

A veteran banker, Dennis has 26 years of experience in consumer banking spanning product development, segment management, marketing as well as sales and distribution.

Prior to joining Prudential in February 2020, Dennis was with OCBC Bank for 10 years and last held the role of Head, Consumer Financial Services.

He also spearheaded the growth of OCBC’s Premier Banking business in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and China as Head of Branch and Group Premier Banking. He was also a member of OCBC Bank’s Management Committee.

He began his career as a Management Associate with Citibank Singapore in 1993. In 16 years, Dennis rose through the ranks to become Managing Director, Sales and Distribution where he was responsible for 20 branches and 700 frontline staff.

Dennis holds a Bachelor of Science in Business (Honours with Distinction) from Indiana University and has completed the Stanford Executive Programme at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. He is a Certified Financial Planner.

Zee Yoong Kang is the Chief Executive Officer of Singapore’s Health Promotion Board (HPB). Established in 2001, HPB is responsible for implementing Singapore’s preventive health strategy. HPB’s key programmes cover screening and immunization; infectious disease prevention and control; child and youth health; tobacco and substance abuse control; diet and food policy; physical activity promotion; and epidemiology and health surveillance. HPB is also Singapore’s lead agency in implementing COVID-19 testing.

Zee served in various capacities in Singapore Government (Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of National Development). He also worked for period in the private sector, where he was with Bain & Company as a management consultant, working on projects in the Heavy Engineering, IT and Fast-Moving Consumer goods sectors. After Bain, Zee joined Singapore’s National Trades Union Congress, where he founded NTUC LearningHub, Singapore’s largest adult vocational training institute, and the Employment & Employability Institute, Singapore’s main career placement agency for displaced workers.

Zee has an MA (Hons) from University of Oxford and an MBA (Hons) from University of Chicago. He is a member of Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health Council, Public Hygiene Council and the Board of Directors of Sport Singapore. He serves as reservist Chief of Staff of 6 Division, Singapore Army.

Paulin Straughan is a Professor of Sociology (Practice), and Dean of Students as the Singapore Management University (SMU). She is also the Director of the Centre for Research on Successful Ageing in SMU, a center dedicated to finding ways to ensure and improve well-being among the elderly in Singapore’s ageing society. Professor Straughan serves as Consultant on numerous projects commissioned by various government agencies, including the Marriage and Parenthood Survey 2016 & 2012 commissioned by the National Population and Talent Division. She has published in both sociology and medical journals, like Social Science and Medicine, Cancer, and Cancer Causes and Control. Her books include Marriage Dissolution in Singapore: Revisiting Family Values and Ideology in Marriage, and Ultra-Low Fertility in Pacific Asia: Trends, Causes and Policy Issue (with Gavin Jones and Angelique Chan).
Professor Straughan was a Nominated Member of Parliament from 2009 to 2011, during which she argued for work-life balance and the nurture of a more pro-family social environment. Her community involvement includes serving on the Child and Youth Health Task Force, and the Infectious Disease Research Advisory Group (both at the Ministry of Health).

Ping Ping is the Head of Corporate Affairs at Prudential Singapore. In this role, she is responsible for development and implementation of internal and external communications strategies across the breadth of the business, government relations as well as community investment.
Ping has extensive corporate communications experience in the banking sector, in particular in the area of public relations. She led external communications for Wholesale Banking at United Overseas Bank and was the Head of Media Relations for The Royal Bank of Scotland in Southeast Asia. Ping was also a broadcast journalist and producer at Mediacorp, Singapore’s leading media company.
Ping graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor in Arts and Social Sciences.
