British Chamber of Commerce Singapore

The British Chamber of Commerce Singapore is an independent membership organisation committed to helping strengthen the ties between the UK and Singapore. We have done so since 1954.

Whether you are just starting your research into ASEAN by scoping the market opportunities in Singapore, have established your business and seeking growth, building connections to the UK Government, or looking for brand exposure and employee development opportunities, the Chamber is here to support your needs at every stage of your journey.

With a full calendar of activities throughout the year including events, publications and opportunities to collaborate with our members, the Chamber team is available to help as a point of resource, introductions, networking, learning and profile-raising.

Our goal is to deliver Member Value through the services we offer that all work towards supporting our members in achieving your business objectives and aligning with our Mission of Building Networks, Connecting Businesses, and Creating Opportunities.

All benefit from our leading position as a strong and credible voice for our members and British businesses in Singapore and beyond.

About the Dialogue

For the third consecutive year, we bring you an opportunity to discuss manpower issues directly with the Minister for Manpower, Mrs Josephine Teo.

In this two-hour closed-door session, we will begin with a presentation from Minister Josephine Teo on how the Ministry is supporting businesses to transform, grow and emerge stronger from COVID-19.

Following this, our President Richard Warburton will moderate a Q&A session with Minister Josephine Teo where you may ask your questions and provide feedback in an open forum.

To facilitate the dialogue, please use the registration form to highlight points you would like to be discussed or questions you would like to raise. The Chamber will be running a Manpower Survey in the weeks ahead of this event to gain some advance perspectives for the discussion, please do participate once you receive the invitation.

We would like to thank our Official Future of Work Partner, Prudential Singapore, for their continued support in these important dialogues.

Due to the closed-door setting this webinar will not be recorded. Please register if you would like to hear the updates from the Minister and have the opportunity to input into the conversation.
