WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND

Cyber attacks are a complex emerging risk in our rapidly changing world, and pose an increasing severe threat to the global economy. Increased reliance on technology and connectivity is making us more vulnerable than ever to attacks.

With increasing frequency and severity of attacks there is a need for enhanced awareness, and for insurers and risk managers to work together in developing innovative solutions and tools to guard against this threat.

This presentation explores the implications of a major cyber attack on a large marine port facility based on a scenario produced by Lloyd's and Cambridge University as part of the Cyber Risk Management (CyRim) project. The presentation will explore how an attack may evolve and what the impacts would be on a port facility and other businesses in the transport, logistics and supply chain ecosystem.

CyRim is a collaborative project spearheaded by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Nanyang Technological University and the insurance industry, of which Lloyd's of London is a founding member.
