Søren is Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific, NatWest Markets and a member of the NatWest Markets Executive Committee reporting to Robert Begbie, Chief Executive Officer, NatWest Markets. He is also the Country Executive of NatWest Markets Plc, Singapore branch.

As Chief Executive Officer for Asia Pacific, Søren is responsible for bringing together NatWest Markets’ strategy in the region and overseeing the operations across its offices in Singapore and Tokyo. He is a member of NatWest Markets Executive Committee, Executive Risk Committee, Conduct Committee and Climate & Sustainability Committee. Søren is also a member of ASIFMA’s Sustainable Finance Committee and its Carbon Markets Working Group.

Søren has more than 30 years of industry experience in retail, corporate and investment banking and worked in Copenhagen, New York, London, Hong Kong, Riyadh and Singapore. Prior to joining NatWest Markets, Søren was Chief Executive Officer of Alawwal Bank in Saudi Arabia, where he led the bank through a merger with local peer Saudi British Bank to create the third biggest financial institution in the kingdom. Søren previously worked at RBS/NatWest between 2008 and 2016 in London and Hong Kong holding various senior positions, including Chief Administrative Officer and Head of Investor Relations APAC. Prior to RBS he worked at Lehman Brothers, Deutsche Bank and Unibank (Nordea).

Søren holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Trade from the Copenhagen Business School. He has also completed executive education programmes in Investment Management and Corporate Finance from the London Business School.

Gordon has more than 20 years of professional experience in risk management, audit and corporate governance. He is currently the Global Risk Director at Dyson, where he leads the global remit for enterprise risk management. Before joining Dyson in July 2024, Gordon had spent nine years with Alibaba International Digital Commerce, where he held various roles from internal audit to data protection and business risks. In his business risk roles at Alibaba, Gordon was responsible for product and content compliance, fraud and payments risk for the Group’s international e-commerce entities in SEA, Europe and South-Asia. Prior to joining Alibaba subsidiary Lazada as a start-up, Gordon held various internal audit and enterprise risk leadership positions in airlines, healthcare and consulting.
