About the Event
The British Chamber are delighted to host our flagship Annual Economic Briefing event, providing members with insights from senior economists. The briefing will cover the 2024 economic outlook and trends from a national, regional and global perspective.
Starting with a keynote presentation on the performance of the global economy from Edward Lee, Chief Economist and Head of FX, ASEAN & South Asia at Standard Chartered Bank, the conversation will then move to a panel discussion covering the global, regional, Singapore and UK economies moderated by Lutfey Siddiqi, Visiting Professor-in-Practice at London School of Economics (LSE IDEAS). We are delighted to feature on the panel well-respected experts Heng Koon How, Head of Markets Strategy, Global Economics and Markets Research, UOB; Selena Ling, Chief Economist & Head of Treasury Research & Strategy at OCBC Bank; and Ravi Prasad, Senior Economic Adviser at the British High Commission in Singapore.
Understanding the importance of providing our members with economic insights, the British Chamber is offering each member company a complimentary pass to this event, and we encourage each organisation to send an appropriate registered Chamber member to join the session. If the complimentary pass has been used for your company or additional members would like to attend, tickets can be purchased separately.
Registration will begin at 8:30am. The event commences at 9:00am. A breakfast buffet will be served at the programme.
